a great help - I m due to sit my history GCSE in about a month. Although I haven t sat it yet and got my mark this book has been a huge help. Its very easy to understand yet covers more than my normal textbook. It has helped me make excellent revison notes and thanks to this book I m confident of at least an A grade or above. Very consise and impressive - I have this book it was a major help for my GCSE s! I really found it interesting and easy to work through.1 more final point.. I was lucky enough to have Barry Doherty as my teacher 2 years ago.. which I shall never forget how good he was... Thanks alot!
THE CLEAREST MODERN HISTORY BOOK EVER !!! - Doherty has written the best revision book I ve found so far. I m doing my AS-Levels now and I am using his book to clarify everything I should have learned and understood at GCSE. My sister is doing the GCSE now and she is finding the book really useful to help clarify all the key points she needs to understand and at last knows what Marxism is! I had hoped the book would be more colourful but I suppose that s why its so cheap.Get this book if you want to do well in your exams!
